Club history

The club began in 1948 under a different name. This was the Kalpara Returned Services Association, Silverdale Branch. In October 1964, the name was changed once again to the Silverdale and Districts Returned Services Association. Many years later, this name was further changed to its current one. The club was created by Anzacs who had returned to New Zealand after World War One so as to appreciate and support returning soldiers and their families. The tradition has been maintained and expanded to accommodate the general New Zealand communities. At the Hibiscus Coast RSA club, anyone can feel welcome and included to enjoy safe and fun activities.

Membership details

Anyone can join the Hibiscus Coast RSA club. There is even a family membership plan. Families can join the club at a cost of $45 per year. This is for 2 adults and children under the age of 18. Couples can join for $45 a year too. Returned members can officially join for $15 per year while active service members can do so for $10 per annum. A fee of $30 per year is charged for associate members while youth members can join for free. The women’s section is accessible for $10 per year too.
