The Manurewa RSA Club is a center where members and guests can find a friendly atmosphere and heaps of things to be entertained by. Always welcoming to visitors from other affiliated clubs, the facility allows new members to join as long as they are above the age of 18. The club was formed in 1945 and is currently located at 2-8 Maich Road right next to the Manurewa business district. In addition to that, there are other hotels and motels close by. The whole family can enjoy meals and refreshments in this restaurant. The Riverplate Restaurant and Bistro has meals which suit kids, adults and senior citizens too. The restaurant is fully licensed to provide meals, alcoholic drinks as well as non-alcoholic ones too. Members, guests and visitors can find two types of menus here. They include the a la carte lunch and dinner menus.
The menus contain a collection of dishes such as roast vegetables, pasta dishes, vegetable medleys, fresh salads and steamed vegetables too. The Riverplate Restaurant also provides roasted meat, curry and rice as well as baked puddings. Lunch is provided from Tuesday to Saturday from 12:00 noon to 2:00pm. In addition to that, dinner is served from Wednesday to Sunday from 5:00pm to 7:00pm. One of the special meals that is provided here is the Carvery lunch. This one is available on Tuesdays only at a cost of $15 for regular members and $12 for seniors who are aged beyond 65 years old.
