There is never a dull moment at the New Plymouth Club. On Friday and Saturday evenings, there is live entertainment provided by local and international bands. Big screen TVs dot the bar and lounge area. They display SKY Sports for fans to keep up with the latest developments. Furthermore, raffles and draws are held every Friday and Thursday for members to try their hand at winning a few rewards.
Sports and social activities are a staple happening at this club. Members can participate in 8 ball games, snooker comps, indoor and outdoor bowling, cribbage, euchre, golf and fishing trips. They can also have a go at rock n roll, club dancing, the male choir, housie and NP Rodders.

Members and guests at the New Plymouth Club can enjoy a meal at the Seaview Bistro, well the name says it all. Here, they can take their pick from menu sections such as the Thai Beef Salad, toasted sandwiches, burgers and roast of the day. Other sections include the grilled meats and a comprehensive smorgasbord. They can also enjoy some dessert and specials such as the pasta of the day.
The other choices contain tantalizing dishes such as seasoned wedges, garlic bread, lamb shanks, beef nachos, Moroccan chicken breast, salmon fillet and ice cream too. In case of any special dietary needs, you can contact the resident chefs and they will adapt the meal for you. Seeing as you can book the Seaview Bistro for a private event, the chefs also provide buffet menus designed for events with more than 50 people.
Located at 55 Gill Street, New Plymouth 4310, the New Plymouth Club is a haven for socialization. To become a member, all that you need to do is contact management. Management runs the club from the office. This administrative unit is open from Monday to Wednesday from 9.00am to 4.00pm. It is also open on Thursday and Friday from 9.00am to 5.00pm. The office is closed on weekends.

The New Plymouth Club bar is open from Monday to Saturday from 9.00am until late. It is also open on Sunday from 10.30am to 8.30pm. From Tuesday to Sunday, it is open for lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm. Furthermore, on Wednesday to Saturday it is open for dinner from 5.30pm to 8.30pm. Dinner can also be had here on Sunday 5.30pm to 8.00pm.
