You can join the Northland Club as long as you over the age of 18. This can be done by contacting the club staff through their website and arranging an appointment. Furthermore, a collection of club rules and regulations can be found in their website.

Origins of the club

The Northland Club has its foundation in a group known as the “Fellowship of the 13 Club” which was created way back in 1948. The fellowship was based on a similar association in the USA. They met 2 times every month. Furthermore, the fellowship organized Christmas parties for their families and friends.

In 1955, a meeting was held by the fellowship inviting the members of Whangarei town to come and create a social club. The meeting was successful and after logistical processes, the club had its first annual general meeting in 1956. By 1958, the club had 220 members.
