The bar is open from 11 am till late at night on all days of the week. Customers can opt to have their meals and drinks outdoors in the covered outdoor area.

The sports bar has 21 different television screens so that customers can watch whichever sports match they are interested in. There are also 18 poker gaming machines installed at the bar for those who enjoy playing pokies machines from the likes of Aristocrat. Live music is also provided on select days. The breakfast menu includes toasted bread, bacon, potato hash, sausages, tomato, mushroom. Eggs on toast, corn fritters are also available. The lunch menu has salad, fish & chip, roast. Dinner menu additionally has rib eye, pork belly, chicken breast, prawn, squid linguine, beef schnitzel. Beef, chicken, vegetarian are the three regular varieties of burgers available and this venue is quite popular for the delish burgers.

The all day menu includes flat bread, prawn tempura, Robbies loaf, fried chicken, pork rib, sweetcorn bites, meat balls, small burger, squid, fries and wedges. The different types of pizzas are margarita, meat lovers, chicken, seafood (my favourite), vege fungi and Hawaiian. The pizzas at Robbie’s are some of the best in Christchurch that we have tasted.

Robbie’s Riccarton is well stocked and includes reputed beers like Heineken which are available on tap. The happy hours are between 4 pm and 6 pm daily, when the drinks are available at a discount rate.

Functions and Events of Note

The bar can be hired for a work function, business and private events. It’s a great venue in Christchurch to host an event at. Combining the indoor and outdoor areas, a total of two and fifty people can be accommodated here in style. Music, entertainment and flexible eating arrangements can be provided based on the size of the group at super prices. For groups of up to 40 people, a set menu is provided, and for more people buffet meals are arranged.

For smaller groups, the organizer can choose between the $30 and $45 menu.The $30 menu includes bread, fries, sirloin steak, fish & chips, dessert of chocolate brownie, sundae. The $45 menu has Korean chicken, Malaysian beef kebab, tempura prawns, ribeye steak, pork belly with dessert of panna cotta, brownie chocolate type.

A buffet is recommended if 40 or more people are expected at the function. The charges are $25 for two options, $35 for three options. The organizer can choose from carved ham, roast chicken, beef sirloin. Additionally a meat platter for $48 and flatbread selection is also available for $35 for those who prefer platters.

Other Things of Note

Customers can enjoy the quiz night which held weekly on Wednesday from 7 pm onward. The bar can also help clubs in fundraising holding quiz nights for them.
