Summary
The bar has quite an interesting history. The heritage building was originally constructed as the local grain and forage store which was used to feed horses, which during that time were the key transport systems in the city. Afterward, it served as an engineering workshop for some time until 2004.
It is during this time that Gary Braid and Steve Gillett looked and saw a great entrepreneurial opportunity for the hospitality business. They then re-branded it to become the today’s most popular sports bars in the Auckland area.
