The Wayward Pigeon is a brew bar and restaurant located at 2a Gordonton Rd, Hamilton, New Zealand. It is one of the newest bars opened from the Lawrenson Group, which is popular for being one of the leading hospitality providers in New Zealand with about 16 venues thus far. The decor of this venue was designed by RM Design, who are award-winning architects based in Christchurch and it’s appearance is a real cracker that’s right in the eye candy awards for it’s looks.

This modern pub offers most of its services to locals who are staying around the areas of Queenwood, Chartwell, and Rototuna. The venue features a restaurant, designated bar, function areas, and various outdoor sections that have a great view of the areas that surround it.

The Wayward Pigeon’s food menu has been designed by Andrew Clarke, one of the most awarded chefs in the Waikato region, and shows the best of New Zealand cuisine. It has been divided into several sections, the lunch menu, the bar snacks menu, the dinner menu, the kids’ menu, and the dessert menu.

The lunch menu features brunch meals, chicken, salads, pasta, lunch meals, burgers, pizzas, fries, and sides.

Bar snacks menu include chicken, fries, burgers, pizzas, and platters that can be customized to suit your needs.

A comprehensive dinner menu includes a list of bread, salads, starter meals, pasta, main dishes, and sides.

The kids’ menu has a good variety of small meals that are suitable for children. These include squabs lunch, brunch, pudding, and squabs dinner.

Many delish desserts include jelly tip sundae, treacle steamed pudding, chocolate fudge brownie, warm apple & blueberry shortcake, mini pavlova, almond cake, orange cake, and olive cake.

New Zealand’s finest tap beer list includes Heineken, American pale ale, Indian pale ale, pilsner, Old Mot Boysencider, Monteith’s apple cider, Monteith’s American pale ale, Monteith’s golden lager, Monteith’s original ale, Tui, and export gold.

The bottled beer list includes Rekoderlig strawberry & lime cider, Epic Armageddon Indian pale ale, Tuatara Helluva lager, Tuatara Amarillo dark American ale, Garage Project Happy Daze pale ale, Heineken, Sol, Amstel Light, and the 8 Wired Tropidelic hopped pale ale.
