About the Cromwell Town and Country Club

From Thursday to Sunday usually a courtesy van is available for members, which they use to reach the club and be dropped off at their homes spending some time at the club. Those interested in using the service can contact on the phone number provided at the bottom of this post.

On every Tuesday or Thursday, a members draw is held and members should be present to win the amount. A Housie competition is also held from 7 pm onward, with one card costing $4. A member can play 25 games per card, and Super house option is also available. The pool competition is also held on every Tuesday.

On alternate Tuesdays there is a believe it or not Quiz held at 7 pm at night. Teams of up to 4 members can enter the competition, entries are accepted by the bar staff. There are other competitions in which members can also participate like the fishing competition which is held periodically.

The Wine Club

Every month, the wine club is holding a meeting featuring wines from a local Kiwi wine yards, with kitchen open from 5.30 pm. It includes wine tasting and nibbles, and the courtesy coach is available from 5.30 pm onward so indulge as you please on the vinos. The charges for attending the meeting are $10 per person and those attending can also take away some of the wines.

Many of the local wine yards like Archangel Wines, 7th Heaven Wines, Shaky Bridge wines, Akarua wines, Wooing tree vineyard, Wild earth selection, Misha’s Vineyard, Three Miners vineyard are some of the wine producers who have already been featured in the wine tasting sessions of the wine club.

On every Friday, the club has lunch, and members can choose one course for $15 and two courses for $21 which is an awesome deal. The dishes available are roast, blue cod with salad, fries , debs chicken salad, chicken fettuccine, beef schnitzel with salad, fries, rib eye steak with salad, fries, nachos. Extra salad is available for $3 if you love your rabbit tucker.

For desserts, customers can choose homemade sticky date pudding, homemade pavlova with berries , ice cream sundae in chocolate, strawberry or caramel flavors .The lunch is available from 12 pm to 1.30 pm on Friday. A great cooked breakfast is also available at the bistro.

A large number of music bands especially those specializing in country music and singers are performing at the club. For some performances tickets will have to be purchased. The club also organizes functions on special occasions like New Year, Christmas day with live music.
